Teaches: Health, Cognition and Wellbeing
Antonio is a neurobehavioural researcher interested in social cognition and health. Previously his research focused on the impact of inflammation on hippocampal-dependent memory (2007-2011), multisensory integration (2012-2014), and pain (2014-ongoing). He is also interested in the impact that social media has on cognitive processes.
He read for the PhD degree in Behavioural Neuroscience at Imperial College London and underwent post-doctoral training at the University of Tokyo and UCL. Antonio also holds a teaching qualification for university lecturers from King’s College London and is a Senior Fellow (SFHEA) of the Higher Education Academy. He is a senior lecturer in psychology at the University of East Anglia.
